It's been a long time...!

It's been a very long time since I've posted here. That's down to a combination of not too much to report and a severe case of "CBA"...can't be arsed!😂

So, over the last few years since I've posted, what's happened... well, life goes on... I'm still grumpy, I'm still short tempered, I still get flashbacks, I'm still in a certain amount of pain BUT I'm still cycling and I'm still working.

My reason for posting today is simply to log the fact I've now another incisional hernia. Can't say I'm happy about it but what can you do... it's there and so it'll need a repair. Yesterday the third Covid-19 lockdown was announced, so the entire country is now waiting for a vaccination... and on that basis, I'm in no rush to get it fixed- Aug/Sept would be fine!

I was sent for an ultrasound scan at Nettleham GP. Results showed, and I quote...

"A hernia defect seen in the right suncostal area close to the surgical scar. The hernia neck was 0.6cm in width and the sac was 1.2 x 1 cm in size. Small subcutaneous lipoma (1.4x0.8cm) seen in the supraumbilical region. Conclusion: Incisional hernia. Lipoma"

So I'm now waiting on this being referred to the hernia clinic and from there I've requested to return to Nottingham where the first one was patched!

And people wonder why I get frustrated and pissed off! This is ten years now and it's still haunting me- mentally and physically!!!

Anyway, to whichever sad muppet actually bothers to read this, I'll report back when I know wtf is going on.
